The MP3 player doesn't read the MP3s. The Cybiko reads the SMC (SmartMedia Card) and plays the MP3s with special software that you get on CyberLoad. Applications> MP3 Player in CyberLoad. It is 43,3 KB. I don't yet have my MP3 player (3/12/01) and I don't know if it qualified or not. Cy-B recommends using the Official MP3 Player app to play MP3s. If you use Cybiko SDK, you can transfer apps to the SmartMedia Card by clicking Device> MP3.
The Cybiko's CPU looks like it's 11mHZ. But, it's actually 22mHZ. Cybiko must have done that to suprise people with 22mHZ instead of 11mHZ, which will get people amazed at Cybiko's speed.
Cybiko's expansion slot can fit a PCMCIA card into it. Cybiko's software only reads Cybiko's Official CyGear. But, if companies release PCMCIA drivers, the Cybiko can run a wizard that asks you- "Brand Name of Card?" and you would select "Xircom" and then "type?" and you choose- "NIC" and then "Model?" and you would choose "[any Xircom LAN card you have]". But, that is just hypothesized.
